Terms of Service will be amended as set out below.

Sending Illegal Spam is Now
Prohibited
The amended Terms prohibit using the Service to send illegal spam. They also require you to comply
with Article 50 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and
Information Protection (the "Network Act") when you send commercial advertising messages,
and set out the measures we may take if you do not — restricting or suspending message sending,
suspending your use of the Service, or terminating your agreement for use — together with liability
for damages.

A ground relating to illegal spam has been added to the grounds on which use of the Service may be
suspended.

Updated Definitions and
Wording
We have updated the definition of ID to match how the Service actually operates (an email address;
one account per sending user as a rule), updated the definition of the Transmission Qualification
Certification System to match the current statutes, and revised some wording unrelated to the
Service.

certification duties grants certification in advance following a review. |

type of value-added telecommunications services that intends to provide text-message sending services
is required, pursuant to Article 22-11 of the Telecommunications Business Act, to obtain transmission
qualification certification from the Korea Media and Communications Commission. |

Article 12 (Prohibition of Transmission of Illegal Spam) (new)

1. A Member shall not transmit Illegal Spam using the Service.
2. Where a Member transmits advertising information for commercial purposes using the Service, the Member shall comply with the obligations under Article 50 of the Network Act, including obtaining the recipient's prior consent, obtaining separate consent for transmission during night-time hours, specifying the sender's name and contact details and the method of refusing receipt, and providing free-of-charge measures where receipt is refused.
3. Where a Member's violation of Paragraph 1 or Paragraph 2 is confirmed, or where the Company is notified of a Member's transmission of Illegal Spam by the Korea Media and Communications Commission, KISA, or any other relevant authority, the Company may take measures against that Member, including restricting the sending of text messages, suspending the sending of text messages, suspending use of the Service, or terminating the agreement for use (loss of membership status). In such case, the grounds for the measure and the procedure for filing an objection shall be notified to the Member by the methods set forth in Article 14, Paragraph 4.
4. Where damage is caused to the Company or to any third party by a Member's transmission of Illegal Spam, that Member shall be liable to compensate for such damage, and the Company shall bear no liability for any damage incurred by a Member as a result of a measure taken under Paragraph 3, absent willful misconduct or negligence on the part of the Company.
5. The Company shall record and retain the details of measures taken to prevent Illegal Spam.

Article 14 (Suspension of the Service and Measures Where Provision of the Service Is Impossible),
Paragraph 3, Subparagraph 7 — additional ground for suspension of use

3. The Company may permanently suspend, or temporarily suspend for a period of three (3) months, a
Member's use of the Service in any of the following cases:
(1)–(6): grounds relating to the spoofing of an Originating Number and the fraudulent use of a number not registered in the Member's own name (unchanged)

Korea Media and Communications Commission, KISA, or any other relevant authority requests suspension
